Timeline

Timeline, or vertical timeline, is for listing information sorted by time.

Item types​

With icon: Relevant events can use icon. Avoid functional colors and icons for error, exclamation, attention, etc.

No icon: Normal and less relevant events.

Allowed colors​

You can choose between support colors or the following semantic tokens as values for item's bullet background color:

Good habits​

  • The Timeline tells you that something happened at a certain point in time, so be mindful of the standardization of how we display days and hours in the Tangram Writing Style tab
  • Do not use functional colors in Timeline bullets. These colors have specific functions that can confuse people
