Timeline, or vertical timeline, is for listing information sorted by time.
Item types
With icon: Relevant events can use icon. Avoid functional colors and icons for error, exclamation, attention, etc.
No icon: Normal and less relevant events.
Allowed colors
You can choose between support colors or the following semantic tokens as values for item's bullet background color:
