Radio

Radio allows you to select only one option from a list of few options. Radio must always have one option selected and must group a maximum of 7 options. For a number greater than 7, the Select component must be used.

Good habits​

  • Use clear and short sentences to increase understanding. The more precise the labeling of options, the easier it is for the user to make a decision.
  • Construct labels in an affirmative way, so that the box clicked means “yes”, unclicked means “no”
  • Start every Radio label with a capital letter, unless the label has a feature name
  • Mainly use in lists that have a single option to choose from
  • It is recommended that one of the options is checked by default (safe and non-critical option)
